A life of focus...

Today I decided that I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't go any longer without picking up a camera. I didn't have a subject to shoot, but that didn't matter. I just had to push that shutter. Today I gave myself a bit of a challenge. No auto focus. For someone like me auto focus is a must. Today I left my house without my glasses which enhanced the challenge all the more. (No worries friends. I'm not completely blind) So here we go...

where the rubber meets the road

As I was walking through the neighborhood I stumbled across this little bush. I quite liked it.

So after MANY grey, rainy and snowy days we have had we FINALLY got some SUUUUN!!! It truely was a beautiful day.

This is one of my favorite images I think. Of my "non human" subjects. Seriously...I LOVE IT! What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed a little bit of my afternoon. Here's anticipating spring!

You should have let that plane leave its trail across the entire frame (or as much as possible), it would have taken this image to the next level, because you didn't, it's distracting, I'd photoshop it out. My 2 cents at least...

Next time you get the urge to do this (which I love), I vote you go to a river (maybe Bee Tree, Cliff Cave Park or Alton). I could really use some artwork in my house, and Gary has a thing for Mark Twain-y river pictures.
